Financial stresses affect us all…Statistics tell us that the average American household lives paycheck-to-paycheck, struggles keeping up with monthly expenses, has very little savings, and carries a significant amount of debt. Nothing seems to have a broader or more far-reaching influence on our lives than money. It can be a source of discontent, disagreements, discord in relationships, and anxiety. Sadly, money is one of the least talked about topics in our culture. Discussing personal financial challenges tends to be viewed as taboo in most social settings. This leaves individuals and families struggling to cope with delinquent debt, damaged credit, and stretched budgets without the benefit of communication and support.
Financial Health Counseling is a critical service that provides consumers the opportunity to face their financial challenges with a caring individual who can provide information, options, and direction. Each session is tailored to best serve the needs and goals of each participant so they become empowered to take charge over their own circumstances. Through these sessions many individuals learn how to build better credit, improve money management behaviors, and clear up identity theft issues. In addition, each participant receives written, personalized plans including spreadsheets, action lists, budgets, payment plans, and resource materials.
Fees for Financial Health Counseling Sessions are charged to individuals and families using a sliding scale based on household income:
